TV Remote Replacement Battery Cover
When someone at work brings you a TV remote with a missing battery cover, do you simply secure the batteries with a bunch of tape?
No, you design and 3D print a new cover that’s completely overkill for the required fix.

It’s a functional design without all the bells and whistles.
The cover fits snug and firm,.
This design was done quickly with only a partial iteration for fit validation hence the loose tolerances and larger corner radii. The cover secures itself firmly but doesn’t quite snap into place for a solid lock as the original would have, but is still sufficiently firm that it won’t come loose for no good reason.
